Location: Bing Concert Hall - Map Link

Over 100 students in the Arts Intensive courses have explored their own creativity in 8 unique workshops.  Led by Stanford arts practice faculty and numerous guest artists the Arts Intensive program offers an immersion into the practice of art across all disciplines. Courses met daily in studios and seminar rooms.  Over twenty separate course field trips and special events were held which took the students off campus and beyond their studies to consider careers in the arts and see professional work and present their work in various venues.

This afternoon showcase is the annual culminating event for the program and offers an exciting mash-up of creative work for the audience and builds a creative community to last a lifetime for the student participants.

The showcase will highlight work from the following courses:

Design Thinking: The Art of Innovation

Drawing Marathon at the New York Studio School

Introduction to Visual Writing

Scene in Action: Dance, Fashion, and Visual Art as Performance

Science of Sound

Opera and Musical Stagecraft

Filmmaking
