Conjoining religion and the arts, the Stanford Gospel Choir has ministered by means of gospel music for over thirty years. While the SGC is deeply rooted within the African American tradition, the choir welcomes a heterogeneous constitution of students, staff, and faculty from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Members have performed in the Memorial Church and other venues for special services, concerts, Kwanzaa, and campus events.
