This exhibition of 20th-century photography, film, and video explores how Asian American artists’ work participates in sociocultural efforts towards self-definition. At Home/On Stage features moving depictions of the private family lives of Asian Americans and conceptual visual rebuttals to the problematic history of Asian American representation in American culture.
