Mr. Vega has transformed works by Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, and others specifically for this concert presentation.
Mr. Vega is a veteran of the New York Jazz and Latin Jazz scene, having played for many years in famous bands led by icons such as Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaria, Ray Barretto, and Mario Bauza.
