Inspired by a trip to explore the nature preserves in Mass Landing, CA, this art showcases two curlew birds looking for food in the shallow waters.

A contrast between the cold, grayish tones of the subject and the warmer ones of the koi fish as the two tones mesh following the flow of the fish.

In Guam, an invasive species, the rhinoceros beetle, kills many of the island’s trees. I collage over images of trees to meditate on this loss.

This work is based off of a found photo archive of World War I era battle photographs. It is from a series that investigates the role of the soldier.

I made these photos at the abandoned Oppenheimer film set in Ghost Ranch, NM. Downwinders in NM harmed by test radiation remain uncompensated by RECA.
