Stanford Arts Institute's programs are made for you.
The Stanford Arts Institute offers two undergraduate degree programs in interdisciplinary arts: the Inter-Arts Minor and Honors in the Arts. Open to students in any major, both support undergraduate capstones that center research creation, combine two or more kinds of art practice, or blend art and research in some creative yet rigorous way. We welcome all forms of creative expression - from visual art to dance, theatre to creative writing, game design to film, fashion, or multimedia installations.
The Inter-Arts Minor (IAM) is a flexible 27-unit study plan culminating in a creative capstone.
Honors in the Arts (HIA) is a senior-year creative thesis program.
