I was inspired by a picture I took of my grandfather when visiting Korea for the first time since immigrating to America in 2001.

These small paintings were quick, gestural sketches that explore the beauty of the feminine form.

Cool portrait of girl trying to keep in her tears.

Oil paint on canvas
This is a painting for children with scars of violence and broken families. The blue hands are suffocating the girl’s strength to speak up.

These photographs were taken in Aegina, Greece. During ancient times Aegina was a rival of Athens, the great sea power of the era.

Digital Photographs
This self portrait addresses my invisible disability and the words around me are a mix of medical statements and emotional entries from my journal.
Graphite on Paper
Taken at Felt Lake during one of the field trips of MI 70Q: Photographing Nature, featuring a IntroSem student of the course.
Photograph
This work is a triptych of body parts from several acclaimed works by Renaissance artists. The famous works are reimagined in a modern style.
Acrylic Paint on Canvas
This self portrait depicts the artist in self reflection. The couple gazes forward, as hidden collaged images loom behind, reminding them of the past.
