Arts prescriptions are currently available for the following Stanford community members:

We hope to expand to other Stanford communities (including faculty and staff) in the near future. Until then, we have other opportunities to stay involved with the program. Scroll down to learn more.

For Students (UG & Grad)

Perks of Participating

  • Investing in You: An arts prescription is an investment in your mental and physical well-being. It's a great, non-clinical offering that has preventative benefits.
  • Free: All student participation costs are covered by Stanford.
  • Community: You can bring a friend/care partner to your arts activity.
  • Variety: Try different types of activities throughout your prescription.

Eligibility

  • Open to all matriculated Stanford undergraduate, co-term, and graduate students.
  • We welcome all eligible participants to explore the benefits of an arts prescription.
    • Participants do not need to provide documentation of medical need to obtain a referral.

How to Enroll:

  1. Meet with a campus prescribing partner. We have a wide range of prescribing partners to choose from.
  2. After your meeting, the campus prescribing partner submits your referral information to Art Pharmacy.
  3. Be on the lookout for a text or email from the Art Pharmacy Care Navigator to complete the set-up process.
  4. Begin using your doses to experience the benefits of regular arts engagement!
